Vincere Cancer Center Partners with OpenSeed to Integrate Meditation Pods into Holistic Patient Care

Scottsdale, AZ – Vincere Cancer Center, a premier cancer treatment facility known for its innovative approach to patient care, has announced a partnership with OpenSeed, a leading developer of tech-enabled meditation pods for the workplace. In this collaboration, Vincere has invested in OpenSeed’s Iris meditation pod, set for delivery in 2025, to provide patients and first responders with a quiet, immersive space for relaxation and reflection. This initiative aligns with Vincere’s commitment to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of both its cancer patients and first responders undergoing cancer screenings.

The partnership will also support a forthcoming study to further investigate the role of meditation as a complementary element in cancer treatment. “We’re thrilled to partner with OpenSeed to introduce meditation pods to our center, which is one of the largest cancer screening programs for first responders in the U.S.,” said Dr. Vershalee Shukla, co-founder of Vincere Cancer Center. “These incredible individuals face highly stressful work environments, and the added challenge of cancer screening can intensify this stress. By integrating the meditation pods into our cancer center, we aim to support both cancer treatment patients and firefighters undergoing cancer screenings.”

By introducing OpenSeed’s Iris meditation pod, Vincere Cancer Center is taking a forward-thinking approach to integrative care, recognizing the potential for meditation to reduce stress and enhance the overall patient experience.
