Light, recovery, and nervous system regulation—all in one environment.
OpenSeed was designed around a simple idea: recovery works best when we create an environment that helps the body and mind shift out of the demands of the day. That’s why the OpenSeed experience brings multiple sensory elements together—including guided breathwork and meditation, immersive audio, dynamic lighting, vibroacoustic technology, and thoughtfully designed physical space.
For organizations looking to expand the experience even further, Red Light Therapy (RLT) can be integrated directly into the pod—and into the OpenSeed user experience.
What is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light and has become increasingly common across wellness, recovery, fitness, and longevity environments. Its growing popularity has made RLT a familiar component of modern wellness spaces—from recovery studios and fitness clubs to spas and longevity centers. By integrating this technology directly into the pod, OpenSeed allows organizations to bring another wellness modality into an environment already designed around relaxation and recovery.
An Integrated, Guided Experience
What makes the OpenSeed approach different is that Red Light Therapy isn’t simply an additional piece of equipment inside the pod.
The RLT panel is activated directly through the OpenSeed user-interface tablet and paired with a guided meditation designed specifically for the experience. The user selects the Red Light Therapy experience from the tablet, and the OpenSeed system brings the different elements together into a simple, guided session. There’s no separate equipment to operate or additional interface to learn. The technology becomes part of the overall experience.
One Space. Multiple Modalities.
Inside the pod, multiple sensory elements can work together to create a multi-sensory recovery experience:
- Immersive audio
- Guided nervous system reset experiences
- Breathwork and meditation
- Vibroacoustic stimulation
- Dynamic ambient lighting
- Optional Red Light Therapy
Rather than asking someone to navigate several different pieces of wellness equipment, OpenSeed brings these experiences together into one private, purpose-built environment.
Designed for the Modern Workplace
One of the biggest barriers to workplace wellness is time. People may understand the value of taking a break, meditating, breathing, or recovering—but actually leaving the office to do it is another matter. OpenSeed is designed to make these experiences accessible within the natural rhythm of the workday.
A user can step inside, select an experience from the tablet, disconnect from external stimulation, and take a short restorative break without leaving the workplace. Adding Red Light Therapy expands what organizations can offer within that same footprint.
More Than a Meditation Pod
OpenSeed began with meditation, but the platform has evolved considerably. Today, our focus is broader: creating environments and experiences that help people reset and regulate their nervous system, recover from stress, and return to their day feeling
restored and focused.
Red Light Therapy is one example of how the physical pod, sensory technology, and OpenSeed software platform can continue evolving together. As our network grows, we’ll continue exploring new technologies, content, and modalities that can make short periods of intentional recovery increasingly powerful and accessible.
The Rise of Workplace Recovery. Why the Modern Workplace Needs More Than Wellness Perks
OpenSeed creates private, multi-sensory environments where people can step away from external stimulation and engage in short, guided experiences designed around nervous system regulation and recovery.
The Science Behind Breathwork and Why the Way We Breathe Matters
Breathing happens automatically thousands of times each day, usually without us thinking about it. But unlike many processes controlled by the autonomic nervous system, breathing can also be consciously changed.
OpenSeed Brings Workplace Recovery to Hilton’s Global Headquarters
OpenSeed recently completed the installation of an Iris pod at Hilton’s global headquarters in McLean, Virginia, bringing a dedicated space for short, restorative breaks into one of the world’s most recognized hospitality companies.
